On Aug. 6, Alan Irving Cooper of Potomac, MD. Beloved husband of Dr. Sharon C. Cooper, Ph.D.; devoted father of Judith Blackstock and Pamela Cooper; loving brother of Bennett (Joan) Cooper; cherished grandfather of Nikki, Cai and Hailey; also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Alan was a successful entrepreneur who owned liquor stores and taught himself all about the world of wines. He was a longtime member of Adas Israel and Woodmont County Club. He loved tennis, swimming, dancing, fine food and the beach.
