Anne Podell died peacefully in her home in Silver Spring, MD, on Oct. 16 at the age of 87.
Loving and devoted wife for 69 years of Harold Jay Podell; mother of Risa and Eric; son-in-law Robert Reid; grandmother of Avery, Arden and Ashton.
For 30 years, Anne was an employee of Prince George’s County Public Education, where she served as a first grade elementary school teacher. She enjoyed working with young children and was proud to see them succeed in their education.
She is survived by her loving sister, Judy Rochelle. and brother-in-law, Bernard Rochelle, along with extended family and friends.
