On Sept. 2, Barbara “Bobbe” Winter of Potomac passed away. Beloved wife of Gary Winter; devoted mother to Emily Winter and Sage Winter; loving sister of Susan (Mel) Sand; cherished sister-in-law of David (Patty) Winter.
She graduated from Buffalo State University with a bachelor’s degree and from the University of Maryland with a master’s degree in education. She taught special education in various Montgomery County schools for more than 30 years. She loved her family, first and foremost, and also loved her many friends. Her passions were swimming, dancing, going to the beach, traveling overseas, dining out, seeing movies and playing tennis, Mah Jongg and bridge. Her big heart and warm personality will be missed.
