On July 21, Benson Klein of Bethesda, passed away peacefully and beautifully surrounded by his wife of 57 years, Carol Klein, daughters Lori Klein (Max Fainberg), Leanne Klein (fiancé Daniel Damesek), and Sarah Klein and six grandchildren Ava, Morgan, Cecelia “Cece,” Sadie, Sebastian and Jonah.
He was a beloved husband, devoted father and cherished Papa. He was also a loving uncle, cousin, friend and overall outstanding human being. Benson left a legacy of love, generosity, commitment to others and devotion to family, friends and the community in which he lived. In addition to his career of over 50 years as a lawyer, he served on many boards including the International Myeloma Foundation and Washington Hebrew Congregation. He brought joy and humor to everyone he touched.
