On Sept. 26, Brenda Silver Cohen, longtime resident of Rockville, Maryland.
Beloved wife of Herbert Cohen for over 65 years and mother of sons Jonathan, Barry and Daniel Cohen. Loving sister of her late siblings Edward Silver, Marcia Elefant and Lewis Silver. Cherished grandmother of Haley, Gabrielle, Talia and Olivia Cohen, Ivy and Alex Cohen, Abigail, and Jacob Cohen. She is also survived by her loving daughters-in-law, Robyn Cohen, Yvonne Cohen and Teri Cohen.
She had a tremendous impact on her family, setting a good example of Jewish values for her family and the families of her grown children, daughters-in-law and her grandchildren. She was a successful businesswoman who managed a home, a home-based business and investment properties. She was grounded in traditional Torah values and served as a model for how a modern Jewish family should be led.
