On Sept. 6, Carol Hindin of Bethesda, Maryland, passed away. Beloved longtime partner of the late Norman Forster, devoted mother of Natalie Slobodin and the late Gary M. Schneider, devoted mother-in-law to Alan Slobodin, devoted stepmother to Joel, Debra, Michael and Sharon for 25 years, loving sister of Richard Hindin and the late Arnold Hindin, cherished aunt of Lee, David, Jodi, Stuart and beloved Tia Carol to Jose and Pamela.
Carol was pure gold — always caring, loving and present for family and friends. She was a businesswoman who owned two thriving needlework/dollhouse miniature stores in the 1970s and 1980s in Olney and Colesville, Maryland. She went on to become a sought-after bridal consultant for Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nothing was more important to her than family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or Soldier’s Best Friend. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
