Jory Alan Schofer, son of Gregory and Lucinda Schofer, will become a bar mitzvah on Nov. 5 at Adat Shalom Reconstructionist Congregation in Bethesda.
Joining in the simcha are brother and sister Noam and Talia, and grandparents Stanley and Paulette Schofer of Potomac, and John and Rosemarie Trella of Warrington, Pa.
For his mitzvah pro-ject, Jory worked with Miracle League (baseball for children with disabilities). He is an eighth-grader at North Bethesda Middle School.
