On May 31, Cynthia Fischler, 86, of West Hartford, Conn. Cynthia received her bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and master’s degree from Mount Holyoke. She worked as a research assistant at Pfizer and the National Institutes of Health, and was a life member of Hadassah and 40-year member of the Congregation Har Shalom sisterhood and Chevra Kadisha in Potomac. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Fischler; her sons, Louis M. Fischler and his wife Maria of Delray Beach, Fla., and Dr. Adam H. Fischler and his wife Barbara of Avon, Conn.; her six grandchildren, Samuel, Michael, Hannah, Daniel, Sofie, and Rachel; and Francine Solomon of Boca Raton, Fla.
