Cynthia Tucker Magazine, age 73, of Potomac, Maryland, passed away peacefully in her home the morning of June 20 after battling cancer with strength and grace.

Born on Aug. 17, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, Cindi spent her high school years in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Lake Oswego High School. She went on to attend the University of Denver, where she met and fell in love with Marc Magazine, her husband and partner for over 50 years. After their wedding, she pursued her passion for creativity and design by earning a degree in interior design from the University of Maryland. Cynthia was a gifted jewelry designer, bringing her artistic vision and craftsmanship to life through her unique creations.

A longtime resident of Potomac, Cynthia will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her kind and thoughtful spirit and the grace with which she lived her life. She had a lifelong love of horseback riding. Her creativity, smile and deep empathy touched everyone she met. Cindi loved to travel and, most importantly, be with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Marc Magazine; her cherished children, Justin Magazine (Heather) and Rebecca Magazine-McManus (Justin); her loving grandchildren, William Magazine and Charlotte Magazine; and her brothers, Michael Tucker (Jennifer) and Mark Tucker (Patti).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette Elizabeth Tucker and Barry A. Tucker, as well as her dear aunt, Wilma Stapleton, whose presence had a lasting impact on her life.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cynthia’s honor to the cancer research of your choice.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
