Dorothy O. Weil 94 years young, passed away peacefully on June 26 at her home in Rockville, Maryland. A native Washingtonian, Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love, style and strength. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin L. Weil, her brother Sol Oshinsky, and her sisters Pearl Richmond and Betty Perry.
Dorothy is survived by her devoted children, Stacey & Brian Weil (Claire), her cherished grandchildren, Michael Rosenthal (Theresa) and Todd Rosenthal (Casey), and her great-grandchildren, Gunner, Grayson, Aylen, Seanna and Evan, who brought her immense joy.
Forever remembered as a fashionable force, formidable card player and avid baseball enthusiast, and a fiercely devoted matriarch, Dorothy’s vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Donations in loving memory of Dorothy can be made to the Montgomery County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
