On April 8, Ellen Mae Darr of Silver Spring. Beloved wife of David Darr (z”l); devoted mother of Melanie Bachrach and Jonathan Darr (Nyana Singh); loving sister of Barbara Grad (Peter Allen) and Joel Horwitz (z”l); cherished grandmother of Ashleigh, Joshua and Adam and great-grandmother of Mila, Elio and Javi. She was a kind, dignified, intelligent and caring individual who devoted her life to her family and to teaching the youngest children. She carried on Jewish traditions passed down to her, and ensured all members of her extended family were included. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth El, the Beth El Preschool and to JSSA Hospice.
