Elsa Berenstein, beloved mother of Nadia and Ariel Berenstein, adored grandmother of Nona Berenstein Lee, retired NIH scientist, and loving wife of the late Professor Carlos Berenstein, passed away peacefully at home on April 17 after a long illness.
