Erwin Mendelson of Washington, D.C., passed away peacefully on Dec. 1 at the age of 87. Husband of the late Sunny Mendelson; father of Gail (Raoul) Ludwig, Ellen (Donald) Paris and Beth Viscarra; loving grandfather of Stephanie (Joel), Erin (Matt), Matthew (Melva), Erica (Matt), Alex (Nora), Brooke (Stephen) and Morgan (Bradley); proud great-grandfather of 13 and one more on the way.
