On Nov. 20, Erwin Emmanuel Shalowitz of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away. Devoted husband of the late Elaine Shalowitz. Loving father of Ann (Carl) Dieffenbach, Aliza (Peter) Murrieta and Jonathan (Naomi) Shalowitz. Dear brother of the late Ernest Shalowitz. Cherished grandfather of Sara (Neal) Turbow, Rebecca (David) Tuteur, Joaquin and Daniel Murrieta, and Micah and Noah Shalowitz and great-grandfather of Owen Turbow. He was also the beloved companion to Harriet Feldman.
