On Friday, October 25, Ethel L. Davis of Miami, Fla., formerly of Silver Spring. Beloved wife of the late Louis Davis; devoted mother of Lydia (Jerome) Kaplan and Howard (Rose) Davis; dear sister of Ruth Gilman; loving grandmother of Jason and Ryan (Sara) Kaplan, Brooke (David) Katz and Erica and Drew Davis; cherished great-grandmother of Vivian and Lucy Katz. Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 29 at National Capital Hebrew Cemetery in Capitol Heights. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beth Sholom Congregation and Talmud Torah Sisterhood in Potomac.
