Evelyn Lea Perlmutter, 99, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on Dec. 1, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn Lea Friedman was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, to Fannie and Simon Friedman on March 11, 1925. She attended Easton High School and George Washington University. She was a homemaker for many years and travel agent.
Evelyn is survived by her children Diane Perlmutter Reynolds, Sandra Perlmutter, Bruce (Elise) Perlmutter, grandchildren Alexa, Brett, Jesse and Jared Perlmutter and nephews Bert (Julie) Friedman and Craig (Shelley) Friedman. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry of 57 years, her parents Fannie and Simon Friedman, her brother Seymour Friedman (Charlene).
