Felice Albert of Rockville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Aug. 6, just short of her 92nd birthday. She was a remarkable woman whose strength, compassion, warmth, love and charm touched everyone around her.

Felice was, above all, devoted to her family and close friends. She married her late husband and soulmate Joseph in 1956, and they shared over 50 wonderful years together until his death on Aug. 17, 2008. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her loving children Michael Albert, MD, Gary (April) Albert and Steven (Diane) Albert and her cherished grandchildren Max, Corey and Jacob Albert. Her family was her greatest joy and strength over her lifetime.

She started her life in Philadelphia, spent many years in Dresher, Pennsylvania, and finally settled in Rockville, Maryland. Eventually, all her children and grandchildren settled nearby. She was a great cook, homemaker and decorator and had an eye for fashion. She was always surrounded by wonderful friends who she adored and who adored her. She considered her close friends as family. They shared many adventures during her life from vacations to lunch to shopping to mahjong and canasta games.
