  • Metro-K was established in 1994
  • as a philosophically "traditional" kashrut supervision organization that is independent of the vaads of Washington and Baltimore. Metro-K supervises 10 kosher caterers and hotels (conventions only) located in Maryland and south to Northern Virginia and Virginia Beach. Also supervises three local bakeries. JSSA keeps a current list of all Metro-K supervisions.
