On Nov. 4, Helen Jean Rubin Wertlieb of Bethesda, Maryland, passed away. Beloved wife of the late Norman Wertlieb; devoted mother of Zelda Wertlieb Rice, Donald (Lorre Polinger) and Stan (Nicole Ashton) Wertlieb; loving sister of Norma Harrison, Ronald (Susan) Rubin and the late Doris Rubin Cohen; cherished grandmother of Joshua (Rebecca Light) Wertlieb, Mollie (Evan) Barnathan and Miriam (Ernest) Nsimbi, and great-grandmother of Ari, Eli, Lila, Rose, Pearl, Mae, and Giveon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John Friedson Social Action Tikkun Olam Fund at Congregation Har Shalom, Jewish Social Service Agency, B’nai Israel Congregation or a charity of your choice.
