Jacob Morris Logsdon, son of Michelle and Michael Logsdon of Potomac, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday at B’nai Israel Congregation. Joining in the simcha are sister Sara and brother Aaron. His grandparents are Jon and Roslyn Logsdon of Bethesda, Meir and Susan Waltner, z’’l, of Richmond, Va., and Maury and Brenda Smeyne of Pawley’s Island, S.C.
For his mitzvah project, Jacob has volunteered and helped raise money for the Montgomery Cheetahs, a special-needs hockey team. He is a seventh-grader at Julius West Middle School.
