The Honorable Julian (Jerry) I. Jacobs, of Garrett Park, Maryland, passed away on April 5, at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife, Donna Jacobs, his stepdaughter Lisa (Todd) Mohink, and their children, Max and Alexa Mohink, his stepdaughter Sara (Jacquie Smyth) Solomon, and their children, Nessa and Nicholas Solomon Smyth; his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Lucinda) Jacobs; and his children, Richard Jacobs and Jennifer Jacobs.
Jerry was a man of wisdom, warmth and unwavering integrity. A respected federal judge and a loyal friend, he carried his many roles in life — husband, father, stepfather and grandfather — with grace and humility. He will be remembered for his sharp mind, compassionate care for others and deep commitment to justice and family. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Montgomery Hospice.
