On Aug. 20, Lawrence Small of Rockville, Maryland, passed away. Beloved husband of Rea Small; devoted father of Donald (Lauren) Small, Fred (Diane) Small, Terri (Richard Shapiro) Small, and Gail (William) Merriam; cherished grandfather of Adam (Rachel) Small, Sara (Gabe) Small, Ben (Beth) Small, Emily (Jon) Shapiro, Aaron Shapiro, Noah Merriam and Eliza Merriam; also survived by six great-grandchildren.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Raised in Brooklyn and retired to Florida, Larry made the most of his years, enjoying life with family and friends. He was a devoted Dodger’s fan, loved a good spy novel, a great conversation and would always welcome you with a great smile.
