This letter is in response to the Dec. 11 news article, “What Does It Take to Be Someone’s Mother?

I experienced Phoebe Potts’ moving and humorous account of her attempts to be an adoptive mother last year at the Logan Festival of Solo Performance at 1st Stage in Tysons, Virginia. As the parent of an international adoptee, I am delighted to see that Ms. Potts’ wonderful and entertaining story is getting wider exposure in the DMV Jewish community.
