In his op-ed, Ohad Teharlev states that the ultra-Orthodox “fear for their children’s spiritual future” if they have to serve in the Israeli army. Is there anyone who really thinks that is their only concern?
No sane group wants their children to live under difficult conditions, much less be maimed or killed. The ultra-Orthodox just assume let others die protecting them and are getting away with it.
