Margaret L. Brenner


Margaret L. Brenner of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Feb. 26. Beloved and kind-hearted mother of Temima Kimes and Dan Brenner (Sue), doting grandmother to Laura, Kelly, Amanda, Ryan and Aimee, and great-grandmother to Madison, Collin, Ariel, Isaac, Maret, Oliver and Jack who brought her joy in her later years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bert Brenner. Margaret and Bert together were famously inseparable; he the eternal tambourine to her song. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, companionship, hikes and cherished memories. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Throughout her life, Margaret shared a deep love for music and her passion for music touched the hearts of all who heard her. Her love for music was evident in her community performances and at synagogue Or Chadash, where she was cantor, and Temple Micah.

Margaret also leaves behind cherished nephews and nieces, as well as grand- and great- nephews and nieces. Her kind spirit and nurturing nature touched the lives of many, and her love will continue to be felt by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. In the midst of our grief, let us remember the beautiful legacy that Margaret has left behind. Her love, kindness, and passion for her family and music will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
