Morton Rosenberg, 89, of Rockville, MD, passed on May 5, surrounded by family at Suburban Hospital. Loving husband to Aileen Rosenberg; Devoted father to Jason Rosenberg; Beloved grandfather to Graham, Abby and William. Born to William and Yetta Rosenberg on June 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York.
Mort, as he is affectionately known, grew up to study law at Harvard Law School. He went on to complete his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. The culmination of all his talent and hard work led him to a career working with Congress. Memorial contributions in Mort’s honor may be made to Buddies Thru Bullies. I worked with Mort for many years when I was at the House General Counsel’s office and he was at CRS. He was a great colleague, a wonderful source of knowledge and advice for everyone on the Hill, and a dear friend. He will be greatly missed.
