It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Morty Seigel of Port Orange, Florida, on Sept. 9 at the age of 90. Morty was born on March 9, 1935, in Washington D.C., son of the late Sarah and Sol Seigel.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Dana Wheeler (Bob), granddaughter Taylor Stango and grandson Blake Stango (Natasha) and his adored great-grandchildren Lily and Luca. His sisters Frances Futrovsky and Ethel Pustilnik (Mike) and many nieces, nephews and other cherished family.
He was predeceased by his sister Lorraine Kuritzky and brothers-in-law Larry Kuritzky and Charlie Futrovsky.
He was a graduate of Coolidge High School and went on to a career in retail. He operated multiple women’s clothing stores, including Yaegers, Village Gate and Charisma. He subsequently worked in commercial real estate at Julien J. Studley in the latter part of his life.
Morty will be remembered as the life of the party, always exuding energy, charm and warmth to those around him and always with a smile on his handsome face. He will be missed!
