On Feb. 27, Lawrence S. Press, 83, of Montgomery County. Most beloved husband of Barbara; loving father of Pamela and her husband, Adam Salem; adoring grandfather of Max and Sam Salem; and brother-in-law of Betty Becker. He was predeceased by his parents, Irving and Celia; and brother, Richard. He was a city planner for the National Capital Planning Commission and then went on to be deputy general manager for the Department of Housing and Community Development.
