Phyllis Weisbaum (Kleinman) passed peacefully at her home on Sept. 5.

She is survived by her four sons; Harold (Sharon), Craig (Jane), David and Steven (Gayle), by her 10 grandchildren; Jessica (Jared Crain), Emily (Mark Shank), Sam (Stacey Gutridge), Jonathan (Nora Goldfield), Gary (Morgan), Dan (Olga), Ethan, Emma, Jacob and Dylan. She is survived by eight great-grandchildren and a ninth on the way.  Phyllis was the beloved matriarch of this large family and spent her life caring for every one of them. She was a stay-at-home mom who raised four sons plus her beloved husband of 69 years, going back to get a college degree in her 40s working in special education and later in computer training for NIH until she retired.

She often said she lived a blessed life with the love of her life, Bertram, who predeceased her last year. She felt she had done everything she wanted and she was ready to go. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her entire family.

In lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of your choice in Phyllis’ name. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
