Renee Borden

On Friday, Sept. 13, beloved wife of the late Eugene Borden; loving aunt of Marian Wolande, Jill Gilbert, Belle Ulander, Charles Borden, Michael Gilbert, Ken (Christine) Gillepsie, Thomas (Lisa) Gillepsie, Richard (Terry) Gillepsie and Diane (Don) Poland. Also survived by a sister, Sonja (Richard) Winkler; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Gilbert and Evelyn Borden; and numerous cousins and loving friends. She had a lifetime career as a librarian for the Montgomery County Public Schools, and she was a volunteer docent at the National Archives. She loved children, books, American history and square dancing. She would send all of her nieces and nephews wonderful books each year for their birthdays. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Sinai, Homecrest House of Silver Spring, or a charity of your choice. Borgwardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
