On May 17, Robert I. Rubinstein (age 79). Loving and beloved husband of Helen
Rubinstein; adored and adoring father of Gwen Rubinstein, Michele Rubinstein and Rona Painter (Bob); caring grandfather of Melanie and John Painter; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. A son of Brooklyn, N.Y., but longtime resident of
Potomac and Gaithersburg, he was a faithful civil servant and community volunteer.
Funeral services were held May 18 at Danzansky and Goldberg Memorial Chapels in Rockville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Social Service Agency in Rockville.
