On Feb. 23, Sandra Shulman of Olney, Maryland passed away at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence M. Shulman; devoted mother of Seth (Caroline) Shulman and Karen (Daniel) Kaplan; cherished nana of Jessica (Ryan), Nathan, Haley and Ru; sister of the late Helen Nissenbaum and Alvan Stahl; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1939. She graduated from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in 1959 and married Larry in 1961. They settled in the Washington, D.C., area in 1964. Sandy loved playing tennis and mahjong and traveling around the world. Her love for her family and friends was immeasurable.
