Steven P. Rothfield, 75, of Silver Spring, Maryland, retired chief financial officer at Cornerstone Housing, died Nov. 14 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital following a prolonged illness.
Born in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 13, 1950 to Maurice and Jenny (Rosen) Rothfield, he was a proud graduate of Montgomery Blair High School, the University of Maryland and the University of Baltimore where he earned a master’s of taxation. He was also a certified public accountant. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, and his sons Daniel (Kelly Ahl) and Mark. He is also survived by his brother Martin (Margaret) Rothfield of Berkeley, California, and his sister Betty (Bill) Crowley of Ocala, Florida.
