On Aug. 8, Stuart Stein of Potomac, Maryland, passed away. Beloved husband of Joy Stein; devoted father of Jennifer and Stacey Stein; loving brother of Andra Stein; also survived by dear friends, cousins and colleagues.
He dedicated his career to Hogan Lovells, where he served as Chief Legal Officer and worked as outside counsel to Apple’s board. Known for his pragmatic approach and calming demeanor, Stuart made a profound impact on the firm and those he worked with.
He also knew how to get the most from life outside the office. To know Stuart is to know his love for being on the water and somehow finding adventure in every moment. He was happiest when with his family and cherished friends, who will miss his humor and generosity greatly. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission MSA or Reading Partners.
