On Feb. 23, Susan Charak Yarrow of Silver Spring, MD, passed away at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Sheppard Yarrow; devoted mother of Eric (Jennifer) Yarrow and Roger (Stacy) Yarrow; cherished nana of Emersyn, Tyler and Kaiya. Susan was born in Malden, MA, in 1947 and moved to the Washington, D.C. area after high school, building a career as an executive assistant with the federal government, Bechtel and Aronson & Associates.
Later in life, she found joy in traveling to visit her grandchildren and spending time with her husband, Sheppard. She had a deep love for Broadway shows, a good cup of tea and all things British. A passionate family historian, she enjoyed researching and preserving her ancestry. She also loved playing cribbage and mahjong and was an active member of her community, where she made many cherished friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bender JCC of Greater Washington. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
