TOT SHABBAT & FAMILY DINNER

Participate in an engaging, interactive Tot Shabbat service, which teaches Jewish prayers, traditions and rituals through songs, stories and art projects. SATURDAY MORNING SHABBAT SERVICES

Fabrangen Havurah is a community devoted to Torah, community service and social justice activism. Everyone is invited to join the Fabrangen community for Shabbat services regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religious background or affiliation, nationality, disability or age. Services begin at 9:30 a.m., preceded by a half hour of meditation. The Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts in Israel bring their big band to D.C. to join Charles E. Smith Instrumental Ensembles and Shir Madness a cappella group for a night of jazz music. The TYHS big band performs a wide repertoire of works by musical arrangers in Israel and abroad. WASHINGTON NATIONALS BROADCASTER DAN KOLKO WITH TIKVAT ISRAEL’S MEN’S CLUB

Dan Kolko, the broadcast voice of the Washington Nationals, will address the men’s club at Tikvat Israel. A Silver Spring native, Kolko serves as the on-air co-host of pre-game and post-game television coverage on MASN and occasionally fills in on play-by-play. He is a 2025 inductee in the Greater Washington Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. This event will take place at 10 a.m. at Tikvat Israel Congregation, 2200 Baltimore Road, Rockville. Admission is $18.
