After a pandemic pause last fall, the annual Maryland Hillel Welcome Back Barbecue roared back on Aug. 31 to begin the new school year. Twenty student groups that work with Hillel were on hand to stimulate the appetites of attendees who dined on what Hillel described as “good grub” and savored watermelon.
