On Saturday, Adam Crausman, son of Ginger Moss and Jamie Crausman, will become a bar mitzvah at Adas Israel Congregation. He is a seventh-grader at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School in D.C. He began his Jewish education as a kindergartener at the Estelle & Melvin Gelman Religious School, and is currently in the Ma’alot Program. Adam enjoys anime, designing (and playing) video games and singing in choirs. Joining in the simcha is his sister Julia, grandparents Joel and
Sandra Crausman, and Virginia and Sedgwick Moss, as well as other family and friends. For his mitzvah project, Adam is raising money and collecting items to donate to the Lone Soldier Project, which provides support for Israeli soldiers who don’t have families in Israel.
