Allan Suchinsky of Kensington, died on May 30. He was 79. Suchinsky graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. He served in the Army and worked for the State Department in the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls for 25 years. When he retired, he started an international trade consulting company, ITD Associates.
He was a member of the Association of Old Crows and the National Defense Industrial Association. He was a former board member of the Society for International Affairs. He was a member of Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an international gastronomic society, and Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County, in Bethesda.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Broitman; children, JoAnn Kay and Eric Suchinsky; grandchildren, Morgan, Ryland and Sania; sister, Judy Tybor; stepdaughters, Elana Broitman (B. Tibor Roberts) and Marina Broitman (Veni Markovski); and step-grandchildren, Nina, Paul and Logan.
