On Friday, April 26, Anne K. Wides passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Robert D. Wides; loving mother of Rita Wertlieb (R. Barry), Richard Wides (Diane) and Helen Macuci; loving grandmother of Lauren Haven (Todd), L. Scott Wertlieb (Marcie), Jessica Appler (Austin), Whitney Fox (Ryan) and Nicole Beckwith (Bob) and loving great-grandmother of Brenna and Samuel Haven, Tyler, Ryan and Kyle Beckwith, Zoe and Sela Wertlieb and Chase Appler. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Nettie Tobey, Rose Katz, Mildred Babbitt and Sidney Katz. Anne will be kindly remembered by her caregivers Keisha Service and Carmeleta Knight. A funeral service was held at Har Shalom in Potomac, interment at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Na’amat or the Jewish Social Service Agency or charity of your choice. Services entrusted to Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapel.
