I was very pleased to read an article in WJW that had something positive and important to report about Israel (“Israeli doctor: Technology crucial in medical advances,” Aug. 15). However, I was disappointed that Eric Hal Schwartz did not mention with one word the fact that the Rambam Hospital treats Arab patients as well. All he could say was that “soldiers as well as trauma patients are brought to the Rambam Hospital from all over.”
Is it really so difficult to say that Arabs from all over are among the patients treated at the hospital. Having been a patient myself at the Rambam Hospital my attending physician was an Arab doctor.
