
Avi Gorodetski, of Washington, was named international s’ganit, or vice president of programmning, during the BBYO International Convention.
Avi, a member of the Yachad Chapter of the youth organization’s DC Council, is a junior at Potomac Day School in McLean.
In her new role, “I will be able to assist teen leaders in pinpointing how they can cultivate a culture of acceptance and togetherness, in-person or online. By expanding on already set resources and creating new ones that are relevant and adapted for every individual community, I will make it my top priority to ensure that each teen feels like they have a home in [B’nai B’rith Girls] and can sustain a meaningful, fulfilling experience.”
