On Thursday, April 11, Beatrice Kern (nee Abramowitz). Beloved wife of the late Ira Kern; cherished mother of Sharette Kern and Carlene Kern; devoted sister of the late Abraham and Benjamin Abramowitz; loving grandmother of Liesa Ellen (James) Abrams-Mignona; dear aunt of Michael (Elizabeth) Abramowitz and Karen Starrett. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Beatrice was a member of Hadassah and past president of the Abba Eban group in Northern Virginia.
