Beckham to purchase MLS expansion team

Former soccer star David Beckham has agreed to purchase Major League Soccer’s newest team, which will call Miami home. Once a name and location are agreed upon, the financials will be worked out. Beckham, whose maternal grandfather is Jewish, has previously referred to himself as Jewish. At 38, he retired from playing last year. M.M.
