Beverly R. Warran (who never revealed her year of birth) passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 23, surrounded by her family and long-time caregiver. Always a “career woman,” she worked full time for the federal government for 35 years, followed by producing and hosting the radio and county cable TV show Generations Together for more than 20 years. She remained an active member of the Women’s Press Club and American Women in Radio and Television and worked with the Jewish Council for the Aging for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Irving I. Warran and mother of the late Gary (Fe) Warran. She is survived by her son, Jason (Sandra) Warran; her daughter, Anne Laurie Wong; and four granddaughters, and is fondly remembered by her caregivers, extended family and friends. Funeral service were held at Temple Emanuel in Kensington, interment at King David Memorial Garden in Falls Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jewish Council for the Aging, Washington Ear or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc., under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington Contract.
