As we slip into deeper summer, area Jewish day camps are in full swing. In Northern Virginia, the District, Montgomery County and beyond, hundreds of kids arrive in the morning for a day of fun.
We asked community Jewish day camps to share a taste of their activities with our readers. On these pages you’ll see kids tending the garden at Ramah Day Camp, making the perfect water balloon at Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia, playing Jewish-themed mini golf at Camp Shoresh, shaking the parachute at Edlavitch DCJCC and climbing the rock wall at Bender JCC of Greater Washington.
August promises to be hot and just as much fun.
