Carol Wolf Katzelnick was born March 31, 1919, the daughter of Jesse and Corinne Wolf in Cincinnati, Ohio, and died peacefully Jan. 5 at Charter House in Rochester, Minn. Educated in Cincinnati, she moved with her husband Harold Katzelnick and two sons to Bethesda in 1962. She worked as a dietitian for many years in the Washington, D.C., area and was very active at Temple Sinai. She moved to Madison, Wis., in 2006 and then to Rochester two years ago. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In retirement she loved to paint and spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son David (Elizabeth), their children Leah and Eric, and son Jeffrey (Randy) and his daughter Michelle. A memorial service was held Jan. 19 at the National Memorial Park, King David Memorial Garden in Falls Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rabbi Eugene Lipman Social Action Fund, Temple Sinai, 3100 Military Rd., N.W., Washington, D.C.
