Dr. Louis Nagel was elected president of the Jewish Educators Assembly at the organization’s January 2016 conference. Nagel serves as education director at B'nai Israel Congregation in Rockville. Other local leaders include: executive board: Steve Kerbel (B'nai Israel Congregation); board of directors: Sharon Safra (B'nai Israel Congregation), Elisha Frumkin (Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County); and regional president: Debra Beland Ackerman (Congregation Olam Tikvah).Photo provided
