Daniel Novick and Sarah Krinsky were married in Los Angeles on May 21. Both the bride and the groom are entering their final year of rabbinical school at The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York and anticipating ordination in May 2018.
The groom is the son of Diane and Mark Novick of Oak Hill, Va. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012.
The bride is the daughter of Miriam and Glenn Krinsky of Los Angeles. She graduated summa cum laude from Yale University in 2012.
Twenty-two University of Maryland students who couldn’t attend the Saturday ceremony because they are Shabbat observant participated in an alternate ceremony in Stamp Student Union on May 21.

Logan Maxwell Botvin celebrated a bar mitzvah with family and friends in Seoul, South Korea, on May 21. Guests celebrated with a party at the Jewish Community Center/Chabad House of Korea, in Seoul.
Logan, a student at Chadwick International School in Songdo, Incheon, is the son of Victoria Botvin and Darren Dorkin, of Songdo, Incheon. Logan’s father works at the World Bank and his mother works for the Green Climate Fund. Logan and his sister, Natasha Dorkin, were born in Washington.
Dr. Lucy Ozarin, center, who will celebrate her 103rd birthday this summer, was honored at a brunch on May 7 for the dedication of The Lucy Ozarin Legacy Society of Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County. With her are Ricardo Munster and Irene Munster.
