Jodi and Bruce Kanner of Darnestown announce the marriage of their daughter Kimberly Holly to Mark Andrew Galiette, son of Ruth and John Galiette of Watertown, Conn. The wedding took place May 29 at The Riverview in Simsbury, Conn., and was officiated by Rabbi Michael Pincus of Congregation Beth Israel in Hartford, Conn. The bride is a graduate of Ohio University and works at ESPN in Bristol, Conn.. Her husband graduated from the University of Connecticut and works at Hartford Hospital in Hartford. The couple resides in Southington, Conn.

Michael Simon Sinnott, son of Wendy Simon, will become a bar mitzvah on Aug. 13 at Temple Beth Ami in Rockville. Michael will be a seventh grade student at The Auburn School in the fall. Joining him on the bimah to celebrate will be his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Simon of Boca Raton, Fla., formerly from West Bloomfield, Mich. For his bar mitzvah project, Michael is collecting new and used items in support of the animals of the Montgomery County Humane Society, and donating them to Wagging Tails Thrift and Gift Store.
